Job Description

As an API Application Engineer, you’ll work with our API team on building brand new, customer-driven features that enhance the Fastpath suite, continuing to make our customers’ lives easier every day.

At Fastpath, our primary source for new ideas and enhancements comes from listening to feedback from our customer base and turning that feedback into useful features within the application that help those customers maximize their productivity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Build and enhance features in the Fastpath suite using C#.net and Microsoft SQL Server
• Review teammates’ pull requests in Azure DevOps to ensure code quality and encourage teamwork and collaboration
• Actively participate in the design phase when building new features
• Help test the current Fastpath suite to ensure quality and consistency within the application
• Identify and translate customer needs into business requirements
• Developing and managing features in a rolling monthly release cycle
• Occasionally provide technical assistance on escalated customer support cases

If you are familiar with or are skilled in programming within the .NET framework and are interested in joining our team, we would love to chat with you. Here are a few desired skills for the API Application Engineer position:

• 0-2 years of software development experience
• Experience with C#.NET or any .NET framework coding language
• Familiar with or have experience with REST API’s
• Have a basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, including views, stored procedures, functions, entity relationships, and table structure
• Familiar with Azure DevOps, and Git as a version-control system
