Manage User Access to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

Control User Access to Manage Conflicts and Risk

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement makes customer and prospect data easily accessible. Data can be viewed or modified directly by team members or accessed from other business or accounting systems.

However, in light of regulatory restrictions, such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR, it is vital that you protect your company by controlling who within your organization is accessing that information and what changes they are making.

Whether you’re using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE) on premises or in the cloud, the Fastpath Assure® suite can help you manage your security, risk exposure, and regulatory compliance.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Minimize potential Segregation of Duties risk. Segregation of Duties (SoD) refers to the practice of separating key actions of a business process among various system users so that no one individual can complete all aspects of a transaction. The Fastpath SoD module analyzes user access across your business software by user or role, down to the lowest security level, to help minimize the risks associated with fraud and accidental errors.
  • Identify user conflicts quickly with out-of-the-box rulesets. Fastpath Assure comes with customizable rulesets that allow you to easily identify cross-role conflicts and design effective mitigations.
  • Review access by user or entity. Fastpath Access Reviews lets you identify and remove unauthorized users in your system.
  • Conduct periodic access certification reviews. Fastpath Access Certifications lets you schedule regular reviews of various access types (role, critical access, business processes, etc.) and enforce sign-off by the business process owners of each access type.
  • Automate user access requests and approvals without involving IT. Fastpath Identity Manager lets you provision users and set start and end dates for user access privileges. Identity Manager will also offer you visibility of Segregation of Duties (SoD) across your critical business systems during the request and approval process.
  • *Connect Active Directory (AD) groups to D365 CE roles. Streamline user provisioning by linking Active Directory toD365 CE (on premises) using Fastpath’s Config Active Directory (AD). Synchronize Microsoft Dynamics user provisioning to enable, disable, or delete users using Active Directory.
  • *Track all access to data in D365 CE. Use Fastpath Assure Audit Trail to report any changes made to data within D365 CE, including before and after values. Identify who is viewing key data to keep compliant with privacy requirements. Fastpath Audit Trail includes auditor designed templates designed to simplify the audit process out-of-the-box.

*Only available for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on premises)
